If you see a honey bee swarm, please use this page to notify beekeepers in your area. You are doing yourself and the bees a favor. A beekeeper may be able to capture them and move them into a hive in a safe location. Otherwise, the swarm may move into a building or some other place it is not wanted. In that case, the bees may be poisoned or may have to be cut out of a structure. The reason we want your name and phone is to be sure the bees are still there and to get access to the property to rescue the bees.
Usually swarm rescues are free, but please ask the responding beekeeper about any fees before you agree to have them come out.
